Hap Mudder's day!

Mother's Day

What a special day for me! I have two amazing children, Taylor (5) and Spencer (2) ... and they just brighten my world! I am so happy to be a mom and know that there really is nothing better in life! I also give thanks to my mom for helping me be the mom I am today!

Nothing better than the hubby letting me sleep in and having the kids run in with cards...yelling "Happy Mother's Day......Hap Mudder's Day!" Love you all with all my heart:)

You signed up, now get going!

Yes, I am registered for both the 3 day walk in October AND the Marine Corps Marathon! I have to honestly say that I am looking forward to both of them. I think I am looking forward to the training part a little more. I know, I know...you are thinking that sounds crazy! As mostly everyone knows, I lost my mom 2 years ago...and I probably don't show it, but it's been very hard on me! I miss her and think of her daily! Training gives me time to work through those feelings and to "be" with her. So yes, I am ready and excited and mostly just hoping that my mom knows I now do all of this to honor her life and in her memory! Love you Mom! J&S4EVER!

The People's Marathon

Congratulations on your commitment to train for and participate for this anniversary edition of "The People's Marathon." At near record pace, 30,000 motivated individuals registered to run on October 31. The MCM reached full capacity in just under six days, marking the third fastest registration with 23,793 runners signing on during the first 24 hours. Runners will be converging on Arlington, VA from all 50 states and more than 40 countries. Now, train hard..............

BAM!

Just like that! It's not hard...it's cool, it's hip, it's the way to do this! I just created a Blog Spot and in case you can't tell, I am pretty stoked! How fun! Stay tuned for updates on the Bee's as well as my adventures in the 3-day and Marine Corps Marathon 2010!
